PortReal, LLC, rates residential markets, publishes real estate investment reports and provides custom analysis for investors and institutions. We maintain proprietary investment indices for 379 metropolitan statistical areas covering 85% of US single family residential housing. Our clients include individuals, buy-side and sell-side institutions, and libraries. PortReal was founded in 2005.

Management

Our founder, Peter Benda, is a former Fortune 200 executive and management consultant. He has Master's degrees from Wharton, the Lauder Institute and the University of Washington, and Bachelor's degrees from from Washington and Lee University. His expertise includes financial modeling and real estate investing. He holds a patent for logistics optimization and has patents pending related to risk and portfolio management.
